Ideal for healthcare, home environments, and aged care, our high quality chairs offer high levels of support, comfort and care for the user. These lifter and reclining chairs offer adjustable leg rests for improved client positioning and memory foam is used on top of a strong steel frame to add extra layers of comfort and stability. Our chairs offer a wide range of options to specifically suit the user, these include gas operated seat tilt systems, workstations for nurses or carers, drop-down adjustable arms for easier side transfers, removable and adjustable headrests, pressure relief, optional meal trays, footstools and mobility slide out footrests. Four swivel, locking castors are fitted to the mobile reclining chairs to allow mobility and manoeuvrability. Some chairs contain a rear push handle increasing the ability to manoeuvre the chairs. Optional additional extras include head and arm covers, magazine holders, neck pillows and incontinence covers. Bariatric options are also available.
At Safety and Mobility, we supply electric lift chairs to allow users to easily transition from a standing to seated position, and back again. Our range of chairs is designed to maximise comfort and support for all patients. Lift chairs are an excellent option to assist elderly individuals in regaining independence and increase their safety when standing/sitting down.
Medical Recliner Chairs for Aged Care
Safety and Mobility supply a range of medical recliner chairs. These chairs are essential pieces of medical furniture, designed to provide comfort and support for elderly individuals in aged care settings – many can also be used in home care environments too. These chairs are made to enhance the well-being of seniors who may have limited mobility, chronic pain, or other medical conditions. Their ergonomic design ensures that users can sit, rest, or sleep in a position that promotes better posture and alleviates pressure on the body, reducing the risk of sores or discomfort.
Medical recliner chairs have adjustable features, allowing users and their carers to recline, elevate their legs, or sit upright as needed. This adjustability supports various health conditions, such as poor circulation, joint pain, or respiratory issues. Some models also include powered or gas-strut assisted options, making it easier for users or carers to adjust the chair without requiring manual effort. Some models can also be supplied with meal trays or foot plates for further customisation.
In addition to comfort, medical recliner chairs often come with practical features, such as easy-to-clean fabrics, storage pockets, and sturdy frames that can withstand the rigors of daily use in healthcare environments. They are also designed to support caregivers, offering easy access to the patient and aiding in tasks like transferring individuals into or out of the chair.
Medical recliner chairs contribute significantly to the quality of life for aged care residents, promoting comfort and improved health outcomes.
